I had some extra abs plastic diamond plate laying around from a previous project I've been wanting to use to make a punisher skull, hardest part was making those damn teeth!... after numerous screw ups and templates, I managed to make my own custom front emblem to cover up the boring red bow tie. I plan on installing a new black mesh grille so this is just a test run to see if I keep the skull there or not

I took advantage of the warm weather yesterday and painted the red bow tie black and the punisher skull red...also painted the top trim piece with the map lights black for a little contrast. I need to get more paint and finish painting a few more trim pieces inside the truck

I just wiped the top trim piece down with a rag and spray painted it... 3 coats is all it took

All in all, I'm happy with the way it turned out except for that white go rhino sticker that needs to come off of the push bar, it drives me nuts lol... later this week I'm going to do a full de badge and finish leveling the tow mirrors as well... pic 23 came out upside down for some reason

Sub'd

Sucks about the cai. I had the same problem with my nbs Silverado years ago. Now I know just to stick with factory box and drop in filter with a mit. Some trucks like full kits and some don't

Interesting why you have codes for brand new o2s. Have you cleared the codes since you put back stock air box? (Doubt that has anything to do with it, but I've seen stranger things)

Random BMW pic?

I've put K&N CAI's on just about all my cars, this is the first truck that gave me problems with it for some reason. I replaced all 4 02's and still get the CEL every time i start the truck??? All codes have been cleared but they return

LOL, my big sausage fingers must of hit the wrong key on the phone when i loaded the bmw pic by accident

I wanna look into either trying to clear out the cats first or i may have no choice but to replace the mid pipe section and a new muffler while i'm at it

I finally got sick and tired of looking at the ugly door molding and badges so I broke out the heat gun and went to work... passenger side and both barn doors took me literally 15 minutes to de badge including removing the PIA glue, the drivers side kicked the living shit out of me! my fingers have giant blisters from trying to remove the glue on the drivers side doors... I tapped out and called it a day, I'll wait till my 3M eraser wheel gets here to finish

Best part is, I don't need to worry about the paint getting swirl marks or scratches...I will be wet sanding and doing paint repair once the weather warms up

Still one of my favorite trucks on the site :D you might wanna consider pulling the side steps at some point, too. Makes the truck look taller without them. I know it did on Bertha!

Smart. I always plan ahaead and debadge before the first buff and wax of a newly purchased vehicle.

Just visualizing here,... remove rack and that spoiler thingy. Remove steps. Add fogs.
Maybe look into getting oem flares.

Thanks brother, I'm still undecided if I wanna remove the side steps and replace them with nerf bars. I may do a full 6'' suspension lift or a mild 3'' body lift, if I remove the side steps and do the body lift then it will show too much of the frame.

Nothing worse than one of those F350's pulling up next to you at a light and waving down at you lol

I always debadge my car/trucks, it just looks cleaner IMO...the paint is in bad shape, it looks like the PO washed the truck with a handful of gravel! my plan is to wet sand beginning at 800 grid and finish up with 2500 or 3000 grit then do a 3 step paint correction with my buffer

That Lund rear spoiler is an eye sore! it will be removed when the roof rails come off. As soon as I decide wether or not I'm going to lift it any higher all depends which flares I get... I plan on getting 35'' tires and going wider, 12 wide maybe

I was a professional detailer for 5 years. Worked in anything from accords to galllardos.
My buffer at home just took a crap after 8 years of abuse, so this spring I'll be on the search for a top of the line buffer.
I plan a scratch fill in and wet sand then 3 stage myself. Mine wasn't that bad to begin with.

Can't wait to see your black burst with shine . Nothing better than perfect black paint.
