Ok cool good to know, those are what i ended up with. Finally picked them up this morning from the post office, ordered them through Amazon prime because the seller I ordered from on eBay couldn't figure out shipping.

Well my aftermarket lens seems as though it's gonna present a challenge. I will have to see how it goes. But as long as I don't have to wire in any load resistors than I will be happy. Lol.

So here's what the back of my headlight housing looks like. The back of where the lowbeam bulb sits into the projector lens seems to be all one piece that doesn't open up. So not sure that I can put the leds into the lowbeam. Any ideas anyone?

I believe since it is a halogen projector that maybe only a halogen bulb can be used, definitely doesn't look like you can get an LED in there.

2as just curious if you uad to wire anything in extra but HIDs are different than leds from what I understand. @05Single , no worries man. Looking at picking up a set of depos. They are black and then I can put my leds for lowbeams in. Would have halos though. I have seen a company called led concepts that sells make your own led halos that might work for that. Gonna see what the bank account allows for haha

lol I wasn't ignoring you i swear, I just woke up. work nights atm
Hids have built in resistors. For leds our trucks don't need resistors, all straight pnp, but most newer cars do need resistors like my wife's 2015 200S. But also hers is European (fiat) so like Audi and vw their electronic systems are a PITA to mess with:mad:

How close does the Led fit? Might be able to slightly shave the mounting plate or the bulb. If it's off by a lot then new housings it is

If 8 could get that center piece put if the housing it might be a close fit but I can't see how to get that center metal piece out that holds the halogen bulb.

The depos might be projectors too and you could run into the same thing

They are. Which is what my stock Denali housings had as well. the Depos I'm looking at look just like the stock housings. Which can take the led in the projector housing. Except they have a black housing like my current ones do. And o can get them for a decent price and then add led rings to make halos. And then the projector will allow me to put my led upgrades into it.

Well I did try some LEDs about a year ago (I think they were from superbrightleds) when they first started releasing the 9005/9006 sets. Shoot now thinking about it, I put them in the OEM housing before I got the Depos, but I could not for the life of me get them to fire up and I ended up returning them. So....sorry I cannot answer that question 100%, however I can't imagine they wouldn't fit with the same connector even though they are projectors, which then leads into the spacing issue with the cooling fins. This LED upgrade has me very curious though to get them white without the whole retro expense. Hmmmm...sorry guys I don't have more info on that right now.

Guess this is going to be a learning experience for all of us. Me personally have no idea, i know LEDs will fit in "non-projector" housings but thats all i got lol. I too would like to know becuz i was going to get some depos for my nbs and some halogen protector headlights for my nnbs as well, and would also like a whiter light without the cost of a retrofit.
