It's called candied. I spayed a translucent red paint over the amber part. Vht sells a paint specifically for it. I think I did 3 coats , the followed with 2 coats of clear. I use their black tint paint too, both have worked awesome for me.

Before vht I used testors (or any brand) model paint. Also works great.

Just got done rebuilding steering, adding rear lift spacers, bringing front to level, and installing LED reverse lights. Long day of work! Now sits at 40" all around on 295/70/17

Matte black wrap or paint? Man I love the Denali's, almost wish I had bought one of those instead of my Z!

It's Avery Satin black Vinyl.
Denali's were definitely made to be lowered on nice rims but I gotta tell ya, sometimes I wish I had a lifted Tahoe or Yukon especially for all of our bad ass trails.

I bought this in August 2015 for $1200 and finally got around to repainting it. I went with the BMW Azurite Black, which kind of has a dark blue tint to it when the light hits it just right. I think it came out pretty good for a $700 paint job with a 3 year warranty. I dipped the Pro-Comp wheels black and need to do the bumpers and chrome piece on the HD grille black too. Thinking about going with a gun metal or anthracite gray on the wheels maybe, what do y'all think?

The gunmetal or grey would look great. And for $1200, you got a great looking truck.
Nice transformation! @Austinite
^ that looks pretty good for 700 paint job
Thanks, Y'all. Anything was better than the old faded, peeling blue, but I never expected it to come out the way it did. And I was so excited to do the gunmetal on the wheels that I bought a couple of cans and tried it out when I got home. Just did 1 wheel and wasn't feelin it at all. Just went back over it in black.

That's a good looking paint job for the price.

How do you have your tow mirrors set up?
