Thanks doods, need to hop on a set of the OEM "GMC" CK375 center caps asap (gm p/n 9595759)... it'll bug me till I do! Definitely want to save up for some nice Wilwood or Baer caliper and rotor kits right away as well...
Then, back to under the hood/fun stuff... starting with the black bear tune, catch can, then FINALLY onto the combo: HD tensioner + crank pin kit + injectors + 8 to 10 lb. Pulley....
After that, tend to all the fluids (T Case, front and rear diffs, trans, etc), probably rebuild the trans and tint the front windows and call it a day!

Sounds like the intake manifold gasket is bad.

If it were the intake manifold gasket, wouldn't it be more consistent? It's extremely intermittent, only on long idle and now seems to only rear its ugly head when outside/ambient temps fall to 50 deg or below.... effing gremlins!!!!

Just checking in, been too long since I posted, but on the other hand only thing I've done in the mean time (since the rims) has been tinting the windows (whoopie!!) Bah! Got plans for spring time, starting to get a reachable/realistic parts list together...

Unfortunately I don't go a anywhere with a cool or even nice backdrop/setting :-( basically home-work-cemetery and between lol... got a little shot and angle happy today after her warsh....
