with a circle D converter. The same transmission shop that built the FARM TRUCKS transmission and others on the street outlaw shop is building the 4l80 and installing it....should be bullet proof for what I will do to it.

You may need to bring your truck to mje engineering in MA. I think they maybe the closest shop near you with experience to do the swap. It took me almost 1 1/2 years of speaking with multiple shops and folks in OK, TX and KS before I found this shop. Good luck

@t_ahan You have a supercharger in your Denali? And you're running a 4l60E trans? Any problems with tranny or front diff?

Ok so I finally purchased the front chin spoiler off the tahoe / yukon and had it painted as well as adding the esky rear vents. What do you guys think.

@Ridculous what chin spoiler is that? I bought one but it doesn't reach the corners of my front bumper and it looks like yours actually does. Kinda hard to see in this pic but it's an inch short at each end.

Is yours on upside down? The angle on the side seems backwards. I assume it came with holes to mount it to prevent that.

That would be hard to do; no it's not. I think it was a bad picture. I just took this one of the opposite side. It doesn't fit the Denali perfect due to the compound curve in the front and the fact it's a bit short on the side.

Yeah mine too. Only thing we could do is buy 2 and cut and splice to make a longer one.

Got word from the tranny shop - had to modify the exhaust system to clear the new cross member holding the 4L80. So far 1st through 3rd works shift strong but we are having issues with 4th gear. which is throwing a code. Both the shop and my local tuner that dialed in the 408 think it is the wiring harness...so that is what they are working on next. Hope to get it back next week.

This waiting is killing me!!! On a side note I did get some new LED tail lights so I have something new to look at until the beast is back.

I can just imagine what it's like waiting. I have like ZERO patience in these type of matters. Good luck!

Ok so the issue was with the wiring harness from PATC so the shop made their own harness and had the TCM retuned as a 2005 3/4 ton truck with the 4L80e and zero problems for the last 3 days!! I am hopefully going to pick up the truck this wednesday and drive it back home which is about 100 miles....

Ok picked up the beast and the truck has been transformed cruising. Drove around 120 miles at 75 to 80 mph and the rpms were around 2000 to 2200 the entire time.

Power band is solid with the new circle D convertor and the car launches with authority and scoots at half throttle....definitely worth the wait.
