K&N intake. Got it mainly for sound when I get on it, and it gives me that. Didn't want to put an exhaust on to annoy the neighbors or myself. This, bolting open the exhaust butterfly valve, and the Range AFM delete are a great combo... for me.
People like the sound of the exhaust, and also I believe in this life we don't have to worry about neighbors, you can't win with them, they are going to be annoying with the exhaust or without.
Good luck to you.
I have a video with a cold start in the morning at 10 degrees.

Notice I said myself too. My car is loud enough, so for my daily driver I want mellow with a little grunt when I get on it. For $200 its exactly what I wanted.

I know what loud is, 2014 C63 Mercedes tuned full exhaust, no cats. As well as a 2011 Mercedes SLS tuned. Those cold starts will wake up the next neighborhood.

Sometime down the line I'll be bolting on a Corsa Sport exhaust to the wife's Yukon. I have a Corsa Extreme system on my 5.0 F150 and I love it. Its loud but in all the right ways and no complaints from the neighbors (guess I'm lucky). No drone on the highway even in the Extreme form. I get compliments all the time. Now that I have the stupid AFM disabled, I'm more inclined to do the exhaust upgrade.

Got the Bilstein 4600s installed today. Took about 45 minutes total. Not a huge fan of how you have to get to the top shock bolts but other than that it was very easy and straightforward. Only tools needed were a 21mm socket with adjustable head and a 21 mm ratcheting wrench. It does help to have a 3rd hand when getting the bottom bolt through. I just pushed up on the shock body and my 5 year old pushed the bolt through. Can definitely tell a difference in driving. The rear end has way less "bounce". Can't wait to get the fronts done. Definitely recommend this upgrade. adbf4e4ccc3ff1c38e59f26eab1c03bb.jpg4e15bf569dcd7b4d599209a9bea160f1.jpg

The Tahoe took us to our annual pilgrimage to Corvettes at Carlisle again. Given the whole COVID crap, I was pleasantly surprised that the attendance was still decent. Not the 6,000+ vettes of previous years, but still lots to do and see. (Took the pics today, long after everyone had packed up and left)
As for my Tahoe, I’m still loving it. I’ve put about 28k miles on it since July of 2018, and absolutely 0 regrets. A perfect truck for us.

What made you opt for the 4600's vs 5100's? I'm wanting to upgrade mine as well. Wondering if there is much difference in ride quality between the two models.

Same shock, the 5100 are for lifted trucks.
I didn't realize. I don't intend on lifting the rear of my Tahoe, but would like to level it though. I currently have Rancho 9000 series on my work truck (GMC Canyon) but hate them. I honestly couldn't feel much difference between them and the bottom of the barrel Gabriel's I had on it temporarily till the 9000's arrived. I had Bilstein shocks on my older GMC Sonoma (ZR2 packaged truck), I ran those for well over 100k before replacing them with another set.

I don't think the 5100's are for lifted trucks I ran them on my stock 03 for over a decade, I thought maybe 1 had gone bad so I bought new ones I still have the old ones I may put them on my lowered 18 Silverado with extenders the shocks that came with the lowering kit suck ass
