flip up screen head units - opinions

im getting a plan together for the system in my 99 burban. ive been checking out these flip outs and looking at pics of trucks with them out. for those of you who have gone this route, do you have regrets about anything? being that it is basically out the whole time , do you get tired of seeing the screen as the prominent feature of the dash extending over the top of it? does it become somewhat of an obstruction to the view at all? do they shake around when driving and going over bumps?

gets pretty close the the shifter when moving it at the same time as display pops out. over heavy road they bounce a bit.

I have a jensen vm9314 shes a older one but it fits and works real good, i just fold it in when the road gets rough.
