So, I posted an introductory thread but I wanted to do a small build thread aside from that.

My wife's new vehicle is a 2013 GMC Yukon XL SLT 2wd. Very special to us because of it's victory red exterior color, fully loaded interior, and when we traveled 1000 miles one way to pick it up back in April it had 28k miles on it. 35k miles on it now and we are in love! What a fantastic vehicle for traveling across the country and running errands around town.

I have a 2013 Chevy 2500 Duramax and we are going to do a build on her Yukon to match my truck. I have already purchased the parts for the lift and the wheels. Still saving up for tires and nerf bars. . . That being said I do finally have some progress to share. . .

I got her all cleaned up this week! Debadged, worked a few scratches with the wheel, clay bar, then 3 coats on zaino wax. Very happy with the results!

Pictures coming right up

Will look a lot like this when I am doneIMG_20150507_185133.jpg

The parts I have for the Yukon are:

Cst lift spindles for the front
3in coil spacers for the rear
Adjustable panhard bar
Longer swaybar end links
Longer Bilsteins for the rear

The spindles are a 3.5in lift but they come with an upper and lower spacer for up to 5.5in of lift. I plan to use one spacer and land at 4.5in of lift in the front. 285/75r17 nitto ridge grapplers on 17x9 0mm offset wheels.

I can't wait to get it finished!

I went with 285/75r17 (says 34x11.5 on the sidewall) on 17x9, 0mm offset wheels.

I will be doing some trimming to the front and rear of the front fenders he tomorrow. It rubs too bad to drive right now.

Mitchell, that's a handsome truck and a great choice of parts, looks great!

Was that the one for sale by King in Arkansas? I wanted Victory Red but kept finding them in 2WD.

Nice! You can gain a lot of tire clearance at the bumper by trimming the support like this and reshaping the liner
