LED Taillights yay or nay?

Not to discourage you from buying new lights but you can buff out the dull stock tails and make them look brand new.
Anyway spyder and depo are the only two brands you should consider for aftermarket lighting.

I went with Spyder smoked LEDs and love them.

These are mine. I have LED bulbs in the reverse lamps, regular bulbs for the brake lights, LED's weren't bright enough, and LED bulbs for turn signals. I like them.

I also had to use resistors for hyperflash, and so the cruise would work.

Reverse light.

I just replaced mine today, the tail lights themselves have 18 led bulbs built into them...only thing i added was an led reverse bulb

Those turn signals bulbs are the old styles. You need to get some like what @Cattivo has for his reverse

I'm using these JDM ASTARs for my reverse lights (and I'm using the same LED bulbs that @Cattivo has, but for my DRLs):

They have 144 chips, and make a very nice (and even) flood to the sides and behind my truck.
I would recommend them for reverse lights anytime.

How do those tail lights function?
I notice that the whole thing lights up for parking likes like mine do:

On mine, the top three rows are the turn signals, and the bottom four rows the the brake lights.
Does your work like that, or does the whole thing work for turn and brake lights?
I ask, because the ones I got where the only ones I could find the still preserved the separate turn/brake lights, while lighting up the whole thing for parking lights.
