Yukon XL/Tahoe rear liftgates interchangable ?

My 2001 Yukon XL rear liftgate has the common(?) problem of rust bubbles under the paint around the glass pushbutton release and along the bottom edge.
I went to the salvage yard and found one in nearly new condition on a 2004 Tahoe. Didn't have a tape measure, but by eye-balling it, they looked to be the same dimensions.

Will this fit on my Yukon ?

Yes they’re the same but you can look at GM direct for part numbers and check for same options like auto lift

yw hope it works out. Check your connectors when you take yours off and keep any good parts from yours like glass, struts, clips, etc.
