yukon 2012 traction off stabilitrak off and Code P2135

Today while coming back home from work, my yukon 2012 jerked and gave the traction off stabilitrak off warning. I swicthed off for 3 minutes and Swicthed On, the error when but came back in like 5 minutes with slow drive. Parked home called my bro with OBD-II scanner, which reported a P2135 "Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/ Switch A/B Voltage Correlation.” And he cleared/erased it.
Didn't come back and seems smooth after that.

Now just what to know what's was the issue and what should be looked at to be fixed, as checked youtube, and people changing Plugs/Coils/ Throttle Sensors. Even if I take to a mechanic, the error is cleared.

Thanks for the link.
I am noticing the Engine Oil kPA guage is reaching at 275kPa as the photo, is it normal as its below? when I speed and the RPM is 2 its touch 275 mark. So have no idea if its good or bad.

After clearing the P2135 error, its running fine except the above gauge I noticed. So should I wait for the error to reoccur or replace the sensors of the TP?

I went to a mechanic after clearing the code, so he scanned and found nothing, only some info about throttle body sensor reading 78%, which he said its the usage/life of the part, and if it reaches 100% then needs to be replaced. He cleaned and reset this reading to 0%, and asked me to use until it happens again, get to him without erasing the code, so he could diagnose thoroughly.

Probably going to be time for a new throttle body soon. If yours were mine, I'd remove it and clean it.

If the code comes back, follow the trouble shooting guide on how to solve this. It's either a dirty TB, a bad TB, a bad MAP sensor or a bad ECM.

If the throttle body airflow compensation parameter is greater than 90%, that's the sign of a dirty throttle plate.

I do this once a year on mine, usually on New Year's Day.


Throwing parts at a problem only makes diagnosis more difficult and wastes time and money even if you plan to replace those parts anyway. Always fix the problem first.

Today I noticed my battery drained after could of warning first was the tire sensor while back home, then after 3 hours later went to check the tire pressure, which looked normal, but then while check the tire monitoring system for their readings it stated warning for “Service Traction Control” and “Service Stabilitrak” and then I switched off the engine and during restart the battery died.
Is the ECM dying on me ? Or it’s still related to the Throttle Position as above

Seems the battery isn't faulty, I could start like after 3 hours later, but now I don't see any warning

The errors your getting are misleading as your truck will go into “limp mode” and/or throw that stablitrak message for many reasons like suspension errors or as I suspect a dirty throttle body. I’d follow the earlier advice and clean the TB and use MAF cleaner to clean the MAF. Don’t rid of the OEM MAF, just clean it; any replacement will be junk from my experience unless you know you’re buying legit OEM from GM.
