Wouldn't it be okay to lower w/o changing wheels?

I'd like to lower my truck for a couple reasons, neither are looks. Pros and cons? How much could I lower it and not have rub issues?

bell tech 3/5 kit. by lowering it you lower the center of gravity of these truck and handle better. use shorter shock for the rear if you dont want your rear end to be bouncing on large bumps
