I'm installing a new stereo in a 2005 colorado for a friend. Stock is a am/fm radio. No on star etc. I can't seem to find a plain wiring harness for it? Anyone have a part number for me?

I really wanted to help, but Metra has a TON of harnesses for that thing. It would be hard to say "this is what you need" without knowing the truck. Door chimes go through the stereo it seems, and who knows what else is tied in. Hopefully someone can suggest how to narrow down which one you need.

I do know the truck is a base model. No power windows or locks, no on star, just a plain am/fm radio. It has rubber floors can't get more base model than that.lol

I'll get in touch with a buddy of mine, he does installs for a living, he might have some knowledge on this and access to a parts list.
