I have a 2011 Chevy Tahoe. I would like to know if there is a kit for the center Consol to have a charger for my I phone 15.

Thank you.

people have done it, I don't think there is a specific "kit" it's more of a diy with a wireless charger, all it needs is 12v connected
and modify the lid.

I wil have to check my console. Do some research. Found this link:
It’s a match to my Chevy now it’s just a matter of plug and play. lol lots of tools and wiring.

Thank you.

I bought and installed that in my 2008 Suburban. Can't recommend. Nothing against the unit itself, it seems like quality. Reality just gets in the way...

1) Phone cases reduce charging rate/effectiveness. Best practice is out of case laying in console. :(

2) The unit reduces the depth of the console slot for the phone, making the phone more likely to slide out if you're driving in a "spirited" manner. Tromp the throttle from a stop and your phone is on the second row floor. Bonus points if it makes it to the third row.

3) The phone has to be at the rear of the cavity. Hit the brakes and it slides forward and charging stops.

Notice the reduced depth of the cavity on the sides, and especially at the rear.

I purchased the phone charger and it arrived today. I will see how it installs and work after installation.

So I ended up installing the Boost Auto phone charger. The video is better than I can explain. I would recommend longer screws on the back end of the charger mount.

Sorry for the mish mash of photos. The video is way more explanatory. It works great I have an I Phone 15 and it has plenty of room. My phone has a case and still charges. You have to place the phone in. The middle of the charger or it doesn’t work/charge. I had to drill two holes and run the power cord from the back Consol but it all worked. My only advice is shop you screws. They don’t come with the charger. The skewers needed to screw in the top charger takes four screws when you place the power charger the length of the screws isn’t long enough and I had to make shift using old screws from around the garage. They were two long and went through the pastic. Now you put back the cover and you don’t see it and it doesn’t bother anything but it’s there. I have to cut both screws or get shorted ones to replace it. However it all works. I recommend it.

I have to agree. I have the '17 Premier and the factory wireless charger is weak at best. The phone has to be placed perfectly and it takes forever to charge.
The 2017 was the last year to use the old tech; fairly easy to upgrade it to a 2018 wireless charging pad.

Thanks for that info. Had no idea there was a better unit available. Another project to add to the list :)
