hi,

i'm wanting to run some 4awg wire from the engine bay to the drivers side 3 row area (where the cubholder is just behind the drivers side rear door). i pulled the cup holder out and can see the harness for the rear fuse panel passing under the door sill. based on the looks of it, its a bit below the sill. has anyone ran any wiring to the back of one of these before? im not willing to run wire inside my frame rail. that just seems like a bad idea to me. thanks!

I would just run it along the factory body wiring harness under the sill plates.

is the factory wiring in a cavity that is accessible through the sill plates? when i looked through the rear cupholder it looks like that wire loom going forward is quite a bit lower than the sill plates, as if there is another cavity below that.

Sort of, once you pull off the sill plates, there is a plastic cover over that is screwed into the floor over the harness. It sure looked like there was plenty of room.

They just pop off. The B-pillar piece needs tools though.
