To fix wind noise on several of my windows and more issues on my right rear I want to change where the windows stop.
My right rear clunkers loudly when I roll it down. I took the door apart expecting old fashioned mechanical stops with a missing rubber bumper. Nope. What I have learned is the window gets to the bottom and the drive cable torques around but the motor keeps trying to go down. I'm thinking maybe this is going to be something controlled in the dreaded BCM. It's possible there is a switch I didn't find that's gone bad but I ran out of time and put things back together.
What controls where the windows stop both up and down?
