Drivers side passenger rear door window rolls down with the rear door switch, but not up. It will roll down AND up from the drivers door control.

Bad switch I presume? Am I correct?

How difficult to change on the NNBS Truck? (as I find that a lot of things are quite a bit easier on the NBS Truck).

Sounds like the switch. The wood panel pops off with 2 clips, 1 towards the front, 1 towards the back. 4 little plastic hook/clips keeping it attached to the wood panel. Take 2 minutes to swap.

Thanks Nathan.

When you say "wood panel", I assume you are referring to the plastic wood looking trim piece on top of the door handle/arm rest, where the switch is installed?

Any idea how much that switch costs?

Thanks.

Purchased the switch on eBay for 15 bucks and installed it today, Works like a champ and took just about 2 Minutes as it was mentioned.

Thanks very much!

What do you think the issue is if both rear windows stop working at the same time? The kid lock out bad? Both rear windows can only be operated from the front.

Had the same issue with my 2007 Suburban. Both rear door window switches could roll down the window only. Window worked normally with front drivers controls. In my situation the left went out a few weeks before the right. After reading the info here I ordered two switches. Got mine from www.qualitydeal.com 2 for $44.11 shipped. Received them in just a couple days. Installed by carefully prying up the plastic wood grain panel using a flat head screw driver. Once I got the edge up and screwdriver underneath (towards the back) I used a second flat head and CAREFULLY pried up towards the front. Removed the switch still connected to the panel by gently pulling the wiring harness from the bottom of the switch. I then carefully pried off the switch from the panel. As mentioned in a prior post, there are 4 small clips that hold the switch to the panel. After removing the panel initially, I found this the most difficult part. The 4 clips took me a few minutes to get off and I was very careful not to break the thin plastic switch housing that is connected to the bottom of the panel. I worked two clips on one side off, then two on the other side. Took a couple attempts as the clips easily slide back into place. Once the panel was free of the old switch I connected the new and tested it before reassembly as I did not want to prior those little suckers off again if it did not work! Both worked great and reassembly was super easy. Snap the switch into the panel housing, reconnect the wiring, snap the panel back into the arm rest and bam another problem Mom figured out (with a little help from here:) Total time about 15 minutes. Thanks to all the others who posted I hope this helps someone too!

Should be a recall since so many people have the issue. Mine have been like that for years. Just too lazy to replace them, since no one sits in the back.
