Will 305/45/22 fit my stock 2015 SLT?

Hi all long time lurker first post. I have been searching but cant find an answer to this question though I'm sure its been asked... sorry for the extra thread if this is out there.

I just ordered some OEM CK375 22s off ebay and am going to need some tires when they come in next week.

I like the look of the wider tire and want as much side wall as possible. Leaning toward 305/45/22, probably the Nitto 420s.

My questions:
1) Is this tire too big for my stock truck? Will I have rubbing issues? Would 305/40/22 be a better choice?
2) Is there a better tire option in a similar price point?

I appreciate anyone's feedback as i would rather not make an $800 tire mistake!

Thanks
HS

I bought my Yukon used and it came with the 305/45/22" Nitto Terra Grapplers. The 100 miles I drove it before lifting and changing tires, it drove fine and did not rub.

Cheers,

This is what it looked like with those tires.

Nice! Thank you for that. I'm going with that size.

Nice truck btw. Looks clean lifted!
