Will 305/40/22 tires fit on 9.5" wheel

Im about to buy Liquidmetal wheels and they are 22x9.5 and tires are 305/40/22 Nitto 420S
I was wandering how was fittment and are those tires too wide for the 9.5" wheel

yes, you'd be with a 12" wide tire, and a 9.5" rim. I have 20x8 with a 11.2" wide tire ( 285/50/20) so yes, should fit fine.
