who's running a Rancho 4" lift

Hey guys I'm new to forum been following it since i picked up my 08 Tahoe Z71. figured out everything i want to do to it so far. thus bringing me to my lift questions I'm looking for someone running the Rancho 4" lift?? iv been on all forums looking at the pics of the leveling kits the RC 3.5, RC 5"(to big) I'm going to running 33's. only reason I want the rancho over all the other lifts is because its the only 4" i can find that actually comes with bigger knuckles and suspension drop brackets. So from lurking the Forum my starting list for all i would like to do is
Air raid JR
SLP resonator Delete
Black bear Tuning.
Lift wheels and tires
Led Tails with color matched housing.
Goldstanderdlighting custom headlights.

If you think the rough country 5" is to big then you may want to reconsider your options. The rancho 4" actually gives around 5.5" of lift.

I'm not running rancho but I have a 4/3 leveling kit with 20's/33's:

so only reason I'm looking to do the Rancho 4" rather then just the quick lift with a leveling kit giving me about 4" total. is because the rancho 4" lift is a true lift with bigger knuckles A-arm drop brackets. and i will just run better struts up front.

i have put a lot of lifts and leveling kits on all types of trucks and suvs. iv done the coil spacers and strut brackets. i can tell you the ride is greatly better with quick lift struts. dosnt seem like it would be but there is a noticeable difference. so thats why when i see the 3.5" lift with only coil spacers and longer upper control arms makes me think for 1/2" more i can get it done the way it should be. but i have yet to drive a Tahoe with either style of lift.

I'm looking for pics with someone running it because I'm going to running 33's on 20x14 I'm hoping to get away with -44 but if they don't clear i will have to do -12

Great points listed above. I wish I had gotten a real lift although my leveling kit still rides very smooth.

Not trying to put down what anyone has in anyway. these are just my views on the lifts and trying to gather as much info as i can from members who have similar things done.

one other questions what kind of gas milage am i looking forward to on 33's???

No I agree suspension lift is the way to go. It just cost more and I was on a budget. With my 33's I get about 15.4.

The Rancho 4" lift is a really good kit for what comes with it! Most 4" kits don't come with full drop and knuckles. My perk about it is the rear drop brackets for the trailing arms and new coils. I also like the CST 4" kit but haven't found instructions online to confirm what the rear parts consist of to determine my opinion on it. The plus of the CST is no track width increase so you can run more aggressive offsets with out as much rubbing.

Looks like a nice 4" more like a 6" lift! Post more pics and I spy a N-fab front prerunner bar

Looks great!!!! I like how Rancho 4" is more like 5.5". I'm guessing 265/75R20 maybe wrong but think its close. How does it drive with that kit installed?

It rides a lot better than when I have the leveling kit (2.5/1.5)
