One has a 1.2598" thick core, has engine oil and trans cooler ports, says exc. heavy duty
other has 1.338" thick core, only has trans cooler ports.

Not too worried about the engine cooler ports as it seems I would add an external cooler if needed?
The stock photos are different, and they show cooler fittings on both sides for both of them..

So, are you saying that you don't have an engine cooler with lines ran to your existing radiator and you have a block off plate at the engine? If you have no lines, just use the one without the engine oil cooler capability. For some reason, that one is thicker. Are the rest of the measurements the same for the two radiators? Height, width of core and size of tanks?

Forgive me, Mike but I don't remember off-hand what year, make and model you're driving. That information would help.

2012 Tahoe. No cooler lines, block off plate. AFAIK the cooler would have been a separate cooler?
Denso webpage shows the 2219011(without engine cooler) as the right part.. so I probably go with that one
Denso shows 2219011 also fits a 2012 Escalade ESV with 6.2

Interestingly, it shows 2219010 as the part for a 2012 Escalade EXT platinum with 6.2, which is only 1" thick.
Denso page shows the 2219514 (with oil cooler) as the right part for a 2014 Yukon XL 1500 and the 6.2

Very slight differences on the two that are listed for my 2012 tahoe on rockauto
