What's your budget? I mean for $9k USD + Shipping I could get you throwing down probably 650+ hp.

best bet would probably be a used FI kit. Anything else would yield negligible gains, if any.

More aggressive cam, intake, exhaust, headers. That'll be close to your budget.

yup, maybe add a tune or chip. Dunno if black bear ships overseas but they are the best imo

For that budget, cams and intake i think are your best bet. But if you want cheap hp, you can always do nitrous, Just use it when you need it.

I'm curious what I could get for $9k...a completely new drop in place engine?

fyi - 08 LT 5.3 2wd

No not a new engine.

Honestly, lets get your realistic goals/expectations on the table and your end budget. You could put a blower on there but it would cost more than $3300.

To be honest, just get cams, headers, intake, exhaust. That'll be close to $3000 and get you setup in the right direction. Don't buy the "cheap stuff" because it costs less. There's probably a reason it's cheap. Look up online reviews before you buy something.

should have bought the denali if OP was looking for more power.

these things weigh alot and they are not setup for speed.

but i guess a k & n, exhaust and other light mods will give you very modest gains.

Stay away from K&N... those filters are garbage
