Wheel Offset

i am going to be putting 24x9.5 wheels with 305/35/24 tires. I was wondering what offset everyone was running? I dont want my wheels the be sticking out of the fenders

To tuck, or atleast break even, the front tires (which stick out more than the rear even stock) under the fender with that type of tire you will need anwyhere from a +35mm to +40mm offset.

thats what i was thinking +35mm, also this will work with like a 2/3 drop or 3/5 drop right?

cool thats what i thought, what setup would you use that i could be able to pull a trailer with a yamaha rhino on it? Whats the difference in doing the spindle drop vs a spring drop in the front?

If you plan on pulling anything I would say use spindles up front, and coils out back because its your only choice haha.
But I would also say with the 2" drop spindle, run a rear 3" or 4" coil max, 5" is too much for towing and not very comfy.

I have 20's, but 35mm BS and 2/3 drop, plenty of room.

is the 2 inch drop spindle on the front going to make the tires stick out further than the rear? , the reason i ask is i use to have a f150 with a 7 inch spindle lift on it and i had to put wheel spacers on the rear of the truck so the front and rear tires looked even.

what is the advantage of a spindle drop kit versus a spring front drop kit

Haha I think I have answered that question from you before, spindles ride just like youir car does now, except your front end will be 2" lower, nothing is sacrificed but ride height.
Coils ride rougher than stock suspension and sag voer time, depepnding on what compnay you go with (Pedders and Ground Force def. don;t ahve this issue. Also coils may have alignment issue and void soime warranties here and there, depending on the dealership.

i have +18 offset. they poke out about 1/4-1/2". looks pretty aggressive,especially with the lip i have on my rims

I read somewhere that the McGaughy's spindles are the only ones that GM will cover under warranty. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Not really sure about that Miller, I do know the McG one has the best geometry, making it the best spindle for every 07-Up NNBS model so I would not be surprised if its the only one GM supports.

am i wrong or is this a bad tire for a 9.5? the ideal rim size for a 305 is 10.5 inches.. so we are already pushing it doing it on 10s.. i think a 9.5 is gonna wear the center of the tire out quick as shit.. or at least have some weird sidewall bulge..

275 is like the recommended size for a 9.5.. so i wouldnt go past a 295.. for sure

There are no issues with a 9.5" wide wheel on a 295 or 305. Recommended rim width is 9.5-11. I personally would not want to go any wider than a 10 and the 9.5 looks perfect. No issues with uneven wear or sidewall.

Definitely not calling you a liar just wondering where you found anything saying a 305 was recommended on a 9.5 everywhere i see it the smallest it recommends 10 or larger

For whatever it's worth, mine are 285/45/22 mounted on a 9.5" wheel. I know yours are 24"...It's all a personal preference, but I think a 305 mounted on a 9.5" wheel looks too wide for the wheel.

i had just 305/35/24 is what people used on 24 inch wheels, because every site that i have seen that sells wheels and tire package that is what size they offered, so i just figgured that was correct
