What's The Best Way To Widen Rear Axle/Wheelbase?

Ref#5 - you may have to fab control arm and shock mounts. A wider axle is easier on bearings than spacers or wheels.
For ideas and specs on different axle, look up pirate 4x4.

Change the wheel offsets, anything else is overkill. Look at customoffsets.com

Sweet. Thanks for the feedback, I'm not trying to do much, just have it sit a hair wider in the rear, for extra handling.

If you’re serious then do the opposite of what guys have been doing for years when tucking wide wheels inside the fenders. Instead of narrowing the rear end, widen it. Cut the axle tubes, add 2” on each side, weld them up. Then order axles 2” longer than your current ones from somewhere like Moser and you’re set. Make sure to use a jig when welding the tubes back together.

Or buy 2” hub-centric spacers. It’s easier that way to see that you don’t like the look after all.:shrug:
