Well I get anywhere from 9-10.5 all city driving but I have a pretty heavy foot. That's with 34.5s though. Its depressing to fill up for $85 and have a 250 mile range.

Are any of you guys manually calculating your numbers or are you just going off of the DIC readout? How accurate is it? I just got my tahoe so I've only gone through a half a tank, but I use an app called FuelTracker on my phone that goes off of mileage. I just reset the tripmeter each fill up, then enter the mileage traveled, gallons used and the gas price (why it requires the price I don't know...has no bearing on the number), and viola. It keeps a running log of your fillups so you can see at a glace if something's off with the numbers.

I was averaging 12.8 in my land cruiser...my Tahoe seems like a goddamn prius in comparison! :Big Laugh:

07 Z71 see sig for mods. Recently hand calculation indicates around 15 mpg city and 16 mpg highway @ 65 mph. Winter gas is ~14 mpg city and 15 mpg highway (sometimes less than that).

Just pulled a ~3,400 lb camping trailer and got ~12.5 mpg round trip combo highway and rural driving with some steep grades.

BB tune made a big difference to correct the speedo (after larger tires) and tune for 89 octane. Keep in mind that I have the 4l60e tranny and 4.10 gearing.
