I have a pair of 12 inch Kicker Solo Classics in a sealed enclosure, pushed by an Alpine PDX 1200.1 Its a very tight and punchy sound, great for rock and bass guitar thumpin, and not bad for rap either. The amp and two Stinger SV20s are on the floor behind the 3rd row and the sub box sits on a shelf directly above them firing towards the rear.

Thanks. I'm hoping that it'll sound good. My previous 1508's sounded good with the sub facing a the side panels. This allow the wife (who doesn't want the box at all) to have full use of the rear cargo area. I'll be able to bolt it down securely also with the two tiedown points. It's tuned to 38 hz.

These subs are awesome. I had one behind the seat of my crewcab Ford. It hit hard with the 500/1 JL slash amp that I was powering it with. I'd still have it but the amp smoked and I gave the sub to a friend with a '67 Chevy truck project. He has it powered by a slash 250/1 and it still sounds fantastic. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with this sub. It really doesn't need hardly any airspace at all.
