What is this wire???!!!???

Ok so im looking under the hood today on my 09' Burb and seen this random wire that looks to be factory, since its coming out of a main wire loom. It's located under the brake master cylinder. It is red with a black stripe and has a ring terminal crimped on the end. I don't know if it makes a difference but i have a secondary battery tray that is empty.

trailer harness power connector, there is another one on the left side of the fuse box between the fuse box and fender for trailer brakes, both connect to the stud's on the front edge of the fuse box

It’s for an electric brake controller if you wanted to install one.

The brake controller wire goes under the dash, to be connected to your brake controller pigtail. The blue wire in that underdash 4-bundle continues to the back of the truck to the 7-blade trailer wire connector.

The trailer AUX power wire goes from the fusebox to the 7-blade trailer wire connector (it can provide 12v AUX power to the trailer).

The 7-blade connector is wired in a standard configuration and most have the wiring diagram molded into the cover.
