What is this thing?

It buzzes when I turn my ignition on and never stops
Its very annoying.
It in the headliner above the 2nd row seat.
It kinda looks like a tweeter or little speaker.
Can I just pull on it and disconnect it?
I don't want to pull the whole headliner down with it.

Its a temperature sensor. They have a little fan in them and get noisy.

Temp sensor, like @George B said, that works with your climate control in the cab. Mine does the same thing, but not all the time and I no longer even notice it. Turn the radio or cd up.

Yea, that part looks correct. You have to pry on it but it will pull down from the headliner.

Just spray it with some compressed air. Gets some stuff in it that needs to get blown out.

Thats worth a try......before I try to pry the dohickie out.....my luck the whole headliner will come down.....lol

If it’s the front one you can get to it thru the drivers door opening if it’s the back one good luck

Funny..... I thought it was the OnStar phone microphone......
( I wonder if that little black "thingy" mounted on the driver's side ceiling controls is the microphone?? )
