What is this Sensor

Does anyone know what this is? I noticed it a while ago and found the wire that runs to it zip tied along the parking brake cable. The wire goes up into the cabin poked through the grommet for the parking brake cable. I don’t know where it goes from there. I don’t know of any aftermarket alarm on the truck or anything.

I would try and find where it goes inside the vehicle that may give you a better clue, my best guess is some kind of gps device (maybe)

I tried looking for it coming out from under the carpet somewhere but couldn't find it. Will have to pull the sill plate and lift the carpet.

Pulled the carpet up and found the end of the cable cut off and laying there. Will remove the rest of that stuff tomorrow.

maybe when you have it out see if it has a name or a part number on it, now I'm curious what it was lol

it's probably worth $50 to the right person, ebay charges 12.5% (basically), you might look around under the truck and under the dash there may be more pieces, someone got $164 for a new one just like yours

i would put it for 60-70% of the new price for that part like 125 then put obo and someone will put a offer for like 75$ ish

that looked like it was the rear sensor. I'd check the front of the rig to see if the front one is still there.
