What Do You Like Better Barn Doors Or Hatch?

Haha why am I the reason? I hate them because of the damn divider mostly. It's a pain in the ass when I look out my rear view. The hinges stick out and look like shit, especially mine since they are rusty and falling apart. And I don't know if other people have this problem but my handle kind of like sticks when I pull it open. Oh and my lock sometimes freezes up lol.

yea my lock acts up too lol i like the look of them only way i would get a hatch is to put a big ass chevy sign across the window

Yeah hatches are great for decals. Barn doors... not so much.

I like my Hatch, but the top glass part tends to start to rattle when driving over washboard gravel roads. I've tried to insert foam into the gaps, but it still rattles, and I still like my Hatch. I like it when I can open the bottom and sit on it, or use it a makeshift box extender.

I like my hatch. I'm not a fan of the barn doors. I like to sit on my tailgate sometimes at the beach. I also like the fact if I need to haul something extra long I can keep the tailgate shut and the hatch open.

The blind spot in the middle is a drag with barn doors. Park in a bit of an incline and there's a good chance the higher barn door is not going to stay open...it's going to close and try to clip your head.

I like the idea of a hatch, but oh well, I also wish I had a power moonroof and a beefier axle ratio.

I kind of like the looks of the barn doors but I like the hatch for sitting on and hauling stuff.

I have a hatch and it looks great, but like he said they start to rattle, its kind of irritating. It also kinda sucks having to lean over the gate to get stuff out of the back, and it will only get worse when I put a liftkit on the truck!

I have hatch on my tahoe and love it

from a subwoofer standpoint I can see the barn doors standing up to flex better than the hatch/window combo
