Compounded with Meguiar's and waxed. First time using their ultimate compound. Used my porter cable DA machine and it was easy to apply and worked well. First time compounding anything, good experience.

Looks Great. :)

I also use their UC.

I do find that it leaves micro marring or a slight haze..... so I go over UC with their Ultimate Polish.

Best part is that these products are so cheap and available at crap places like Walmart.

Some small Private labels over hype so much.

Shop called and said the fuel pump was in, I got there and they said it has no oil pressure, I called the fella who rebuilt the engine, he fired it up and I thought they took my engine out and replaced it with a diesel! He thinks that the O ring he installed on the new oil pump might not have sealed properly so he is pulling the pan tonight to see what the deal is.

Nothing but bad luck. I have to much into it to get rid of it now, sooner or later it will be a 2010+! lol

lol well hopefully it'll all get straightened out this time. when I bought mine mine was the same way since I had no clue the motor was blown up till I changed the oil bc of the oil they had in it must've been 50 weight. I've been thinking bout getting rid of my z71 and getting my fiancé into a Tahoe or Yukon. She's picky though I test drove a Yukon yesterday and liked it but they wanted me to add 800 bucks to trade the truck and I just don't have that kind of money right now.

meh I'm starting a new job Thursday may drive it and see how it does its a 20 mile trip one way there I've only drove the Tahoe there so far. My Tahoe is too comfy to just swap out. I may buy her something maybe after tax time. I have a vehicle addiction problem and prob wont sell or trade the z71 mainly cause its as old as me and I do like it but I rarely drive it

Replaced my high mount brake light since it was cracked. As a result it had taken on water (not just condensation) and the LEDs in the houseing were all either dim, or had failed completely.

I put in a Dorman replacement, and it's back to being as bright as it was new.

Pull my daughter out of school on Friday and took the family to the beach to enjoy the 80 degree weather ( hardly ever happens at the beach in Oregon) and to just get out of the house and do something fun! Love driving the denali out in the sand, air down the tires to about 20 and it gets around pretty much anywhere! Love the dunes and can't wait to go back!

Glad y'all had fun! I went to an offroad range (I guess you'd call it...?) in Galveston when we were on vacation and just whipped around with family on the trails. Was just fun to do some crazier stuff that you can't do on a highway, and it was juuuust packed enough where I had no trouble with a 2WD. That is, of course, until I wanted to do some exploring and we got stuck (well, it was my fault) in some nasty loose sand. Was 30 minutes of hell getting to an "island" of packed sand, then me gunning it and doing all sorts of turning under a bridge to keep the speed up to get to the exit. Definitely one of the moments that is kicking me to get an Action Cam or GoPro, just for that 1 time a year you get to do something bad ass.

Here's to my next vehicle being a 4WD 6.2!
