Looks good. What brand of lights did you go with?

There just some cheap chrome 100watt lights off amazon i got for 8 bucks a piece. I also color matched them since i have gone away from chrome.

My AC compressor has been taking a dump on us this last week at the wrong time (just had knee surgery), so instead of me fixing it myself I will be paying someone to do it all for me! Kills me to have to do that but at least it will be done within 1/2 day on Tuesday! Already replaced a radiator fan in our jetta with my awesome knee but that was a completely different beast, the truck is a no go!

Go sit down and get off the KNEE now!!!! Before you make it worse. Somethings coming very soon and you need to be good to go. So, stop working. Sit and relax.

B/c if you saw what his knee looks like and hes about to have something happen very shortly where he needs to be top shape. You would possibly tell him the same thing. Kind of cool though, looks like a zipper. lol

i am not mean, just concerned friend, i guess. lol

On Topic - Washed it the other day only to rain for 5 mins and kill it.

and probably changing out wheels again monday.

Nice! So a jump seat can still be installed by removing the center console?

Yup. You have to take the seats out to do it, because there's a bracket that uses the inside seat bolts to secure it. All and all it took me about 2 hours to do the swap. That includes cleaning time too, because it was filthy under my seats.

JK, he's doing what everyone else is telling me as well so I'm use to it! ahahah My wife is due to have our 3rd daughter in a couple weeks and more than likely it could happen any day now, so this knee surgery was less than desirable timing on my part! Who says I can't be useful on crutches?!?!?! ahahha It's all good!

Thinking about hopping( or crutching) into the drivers seat and driving like I always do......like I stole it! Only in the thought stage right now though! Lol

Took your motivational words and loaded myself up. Filled the truck up with gas since it was on fumes, stopped by a local pub and crutched out with a 64 oz growler full of liquid medication enhancing pineapple cider drink, and then came home and added half a quart of oil since I'm getting close to an oil change! Even stomped on the gas pedal a few times to wake it up, let the rehab begin! And before anyone asks, I'm barely even taking Tylenol right for pain management so didn't want anyone thinking I'm doing all of this hopped up ( at least not yet, might be later though). lol

All I know though is how much I miss having our AC working in the truck and will be more than happy to have it working again on Tuesday!

Don't want to start a whole thread, but I got a quick A/C question. I got an 04, and when I come to a stop the A/C gets luke warm. It seams to be worse when the rear unit is on too. Is this normal, or a sign I'm low on freon? Driving it's ice cold, but it does seem to take it a few to get ice cold...

Travis, I would check your fan clutch. If it cools fine under way that tells me it's an airflow issue, not freon.

Our fan clutch took a dump a few years back, yours is probably due. It will look like it's spinning, but won't spin fast enough to keep it cool. Next step is overheating at idle.

Cheap and easy fix.

Cheers,
Ian

My reason to be on crutches:

Ouch. Hope you're up and around soon. You might need to plan on doing more rocking than bouncing with #3, and congratulations in advance!
