What's the best adhesive for repairing a screw tower on my switch bezel in the door panel? If I remember correctly the last time I tried, Super Glue didn't work. The plastic epoxy held until I tried to turn in the screw. Stupid that GM put a push clip on one end and a captive screw on the other.

What I have done is while that part is on the door panel I just put a screw in it sideways to hold it from coming up, works fine and holds it good, every one I have owned has broken exactly like that.

Ok, done. Cleaned with the acetone and did a few small applications to build it up some. Seems pretty rock solid, so much more than epoxy. I ran the screw in to see if there was any flexing but there wasn't. Once the screw was in a little ways I noticed a small crack in the screw tower so I fixed that.

The Q-Bond is a bit pricey at $30 but I didn't use very much of the black powder so I have plenty left for other projects.

The before pic was in a prior post with two pieces shown. Here's the after. Not pretty but it doesn't have to be. Thanks for the recommendation!

Alright flopro 2405 behind long tubes, high flow cats and vibrant bullet resonators, all connected to a 6.0 with a 224/228 113lsa cam. Went across town today and there is a tiny bit of drone maybe 10%of what the magnaflow had but I can live with that.

Also picked up my buddies 408 for his stick shift denali that's been in my shop 4 months. Hopefully have it running and tuning by the end of next week.

I really like the exhaust. Sounds so much better then mine. Can you post the link again. The drone kills me on mine.

Thanks bromigo I'm really happy with it. When the guy started it up to pull off the rack I thought "oh crap it's still too loud" but from the inside it's not at all. I bought it on ebay here and shipping was fast.

If you want it a hair quieter try the 2506 the 2500 is practically stock. I still have the 2500 I took off it might find it's way under my silverado after the cutouts.

What exhaust setup do you have on yours now?

This thing. I just need to quiet it down some--the drone. Gets tiring on a long trip.
LT's no cats. Would it get to you after awhile lol?

Sux--thought it'd be a little cheaper.

EDIT---Too good to be true??View attachment 259669

Got my truck washed at my favorite car wash and when I left the manager who is cool and we usually BS, shakes my hand and says I left you a gift in the glove box. I figured it was a handful of my favorite vanilla air fresheners. Nope $150 gift card! That pays for 3 wash and waxes! View attachment 259692

Replaced the a/c vents (dorman) in the Denali, couldn't find the right color so I went with black and bought both. The Tahoe needed a center vent replaced so I did that as well. One of the screws that holds it on is behind the lip of the dash so I just used a small drill bit to cut out around it. It's behind the bezel so you'll never see it.

I was pleased with the dorman vents they look just like the originals to me.
