What did I do today?
I installed the replacement ballast for my @Vanquish Auto HID headlights.

No more blue cast to the passenger side projector.

While I was waiting for my replacement to come in, I used one of the old ballasts that was for the $30 HID kit.
I found that the cheap ballast made the light come up to full brightness much faster than the more expensive one, and made the light have a slightly bluer cast to the light.

Fastbright ballasts are the best bang for the buck and quick startup

What did you use, dynamite?

Close. A saws-all, grinder and a BFG. It was a pain but now I can get it aligned when I'm done. No telling how much a shop would have charged me to do it. Yesterday I changed out the lower ball joints. Not to bad when you get the right tool.

The rule of thumb is the wheel gap should not exceed the sidewall height in order to look right.

Guess I need more tire and more low. I drag the tow hitch coming out of my driveway as is though...

Atleast I added some fresh black undercoating in the wheel wells so they arent as noticeable.
