Soooo a slight battery issue with the Suburban, but will detail in the NNBS section. Wife had to drive the Tahoe to the store  while I dealt with it.

On to the fun stuff. The messy party for my daughter is on. And the homemade foam machine has been tested. This should be a winner.

Ready to foam.

Was it in bad shape? Cleaning and dressing mine as well as using an adhesive made my hatch weatherstripping like new again.

Ya it was pretty bad, was really flat it was beyond repair

Ah yeah it was toast then. Bet its nice having it all sealed up again!

Mine drove me nuts when it would slip out of place and there was a ton of wind noise

Honestly never had that issue it was flat so I replaced it but you can tell when you close it now it's a nice solid seal

Yeah my kids are constantly dragging big ol bags full of football gear and softball gear out of there and kept pulling the seal off.

Finally after 15 years I found these again. Been looking everywhere. Just didn't know the name. Love these connectors. Was detailing a trade-in at a dealer one day and found a bunch of them. Nobody knew where to find them or who made them. Just yesterday I saw a guy use them on a YouTube install video and he used these and said the name 'posi-tap'. Gonna be ordering a bunch of these.

Obviously not designed for exterior use but great for interior temporary accessories or stereo connections. If you have a short lead and don't want to make it shorter and shorter every time you replace the component with a broken one or an upgrade.

I totally agree with the awesomeness of the posi-taps! While nothing beats a solid splice and solder....these are the next best thing

Replaced the seal in my hydro boost for a 2nd time. An install error last time case a small tear in the lip of the seal. Hopefully it holds this time..
