Picked up a pair of rear vent caps from a guy parting out an 03 Black Escalade. I paid $80 for them, which I thought was pretty good. He also had the rear glass and third brake light but wanted $200 for it. I passed. I'd have paid $100 for it.

Now you have to decide if you want to CM them or leave them black. Decisions decisions.

I personally think CM only looks good on lowered trucks for the most part, but there are some exceptions to the rule.

CM only looks good if you have a dark color truck, otherwise it breaks up the black of the windows and messes up the lines of the truck, I think.

But if you like it, whatever.
It's your truck :D

I finally got the right u-joint straps today and my neighbor installed them. The Beast is back AGAIN!! Took it for a 2-block drive and all seems ok. I won't truly know until I go 8 hours without meds and can drive it faster but I have confidence. I used ACDelco Professional straps (which look like they're hardened) and had them torqued correctly. Now to get my bike and my body healed a bit. Baby steps.

New:

I got the new cover from TheSeatShop.com. Top quality and a great factory color match. Used a tip they suggested and cleaned the seat back with Scrubbing Bubbles, then leather conditioner. Man it clean up the dirty seat back really well. Left side and top have already been cleaned.

All done:
