For the money it's worth it. I just don't know if the filter is cleanable or not. It looks like a k&n. Nothing in the instructions saying either. If it's not I will buy the k&n filter after.
Buy the spectre filter, they're cheaper and they also have some the end open so you can add their ram air funnel and tubing fairly cheap too.

I will keep that in mind. Thanks
Do you have one ?
I had their regular one on my Yukon before I sold it, but I do have the open filter with a universal kit to put on the lady's trailblazer.i just need to get more pieces to make it work.

Well guys I'm back in the NBS game! After a year of regretting selling my 02, I picked up a 1 owner 2003 Z71 in Kansas. It needs a little tlc with the seats and the center console not latching all of the way. I'll post som better pics later. It's been raining off and on today.

Does anyone know if I can just replace the black cubby in the center console for it to latch or does the lid get replaced too? It closes but it barely holds. If I shut the door it comes flying up.

Gave her a much needed cleaning! Anyone know if the last photo on the center console is broken? I'm trying decide if I need the latch or the cubby to fix it.

Ahh , I think it's the lower part of the console. Where the latch goes in-from the lid-that square hole should be a perfect square, the opening. I hope I'm making sense .Looks to be like a very small amount is chipped off causing your problem .

That's what I was thinking but I couldn't find any pictures of it depicting what it looks like new.

Hmmm, I'm wrong. Mine is exactly like yours! But mine latches drum tight. Once it's closed it doesn't even wiggle .

Perhaps the actual latching mechanism, the lever is you will, is not actually compressing or expanding for lack of a better description, and snapping thru and over the lip of the receiving hole. Following me. Maybe push the lever with your finger to see if it is moving. Maybe it is stuck or just every so slightly out of alignment and not allowing it to latch completely. Spitballing here for solution...

Thanks for the help. I'll try that, but I may just order a new latch to see if that works. $26 on prime.
