You need an evacuator to drain that coolant out my man. Works like a charm. I'll be doing my radiator this fall once I get all the parts together.
Wtf is an evacuator? Sounds like a medical device.

Anyway I got it done. Yes those factory spring clamps are strong in that size, took a bit of effort. The bottom one is oriented down now so it can be accessed from below next time if there is a next time.

It’s hard to get a good pic.

Edit: I did clean the clamps up and painted them flat black while I was waiting to calm down so they should work better now. :happy107:

I have used a mini 'C' clamp. But as you describe, it's getting to it without letting a bit of blood on your arms,,,,,

It looks like one. I love this thing, saves so many messes.

Thanks. I put it on my Amazon List Of Things I’ll Probably Never Buy.

If it was half that price I might go for it but I really don’t mind a little mess. How would that work for coolant? Pull the upper radiator hose?

I really didn’t think the lower radiator hose was going to be difficult. It would help if GM didn’t do away with the radiator petcock. Great word btw. My original had it, but the new OEM one I installed did not. It also would help if I didn’t have the pump for my intercooler right there. I also must have had the transmission cooler lines disconnected when I last installed the clamp at the radiator side because I almost couldn’t get it off due to its orientation. And then the cold air intake for the blower was in the way. Not much room from above so I pulled the wheel and was barely able to get the spring clamp pliers on and wiggled and grunted until that thing came off. Now I’m taking a break because even a half hour later, there’s still coolant dripping out. And it’s starting to get hot outside. This might be a 2 day project. ;)
Wow, lately you can't catch a break. Your projects just get so complicated.

Found a few more pics.
Hauling a semi-rig..... I steered a race car into the top deck..... Strapped the front down.
I had to remove my shoes & belt to slide over the top of car to get out the rear.
Barely 8 inches gap on the sides,.. but, damn... those side mirrors !!

My friend was walking on the top of it with his sneakers on.

Definitely! Was this some kind of exotic car broker?
They were in north Jersey and they rented exotics. They were bought out by a company in California. For some reason they needed those Lambos at their location. You should've seen what was there. Their lot was located under a highway overpass lol. They had Bentleys, Ferraris--almost any kind of exotic you could think of, just sitting outside.
This was their Jersey location--

I rented this Huracan for a day in Miami in 2017. Surprised my buddy by picking him up at the airport in it. I knew his luggage wasn't going to fit in the frunk so I hired an Uber to follow me and carry his luggage. lol

Dude that's too funny.
Must be a common color.
Saw this in Lakewood a few years ago.
