I used two different sized snap ring pliers, no puller required. Here's the replacement instructions:

My cost at Advance, like $199, but since I'm broke, gotta go used--unfortunately.oh man that sucks, just did my compressor about a month ago. went with the autozone 4seasons i think.

agree, the connectors never seal properly and are very loose. have lots of customers come in to get the tee connectors and straight connectors cause they buy aftermarket and learn from there mistake.Should go with AC Delco or Gates hoses. Not much more money.
