looks like you might of had a under hood light thats been removed. the stud on the fire wall is a ground point, that plug looks damn clean like it used to be somewhere.

when you find a stray unused plug its normally filthy.

Scott is probably right, since your hood is missing the light and it looks like it has the ground post down farther, you can verify if it has 12v constant power without the key in the ignition. if that's not it then it kind of looks like the same plug that goes to the brake fluid/proportioning valve.

Hmmm. Didn't even think of the hood light. I recently had the motor pulled to fix all the leaks (it was leaking everywhere and everything), maybe its the hood light. Brake fluid reservoir only had one plug and its plugged in. Thanks for the quick responses guys! :beer:

The round ground connector goes right there on the bolt stud on your hood, then the light would be up higher should be a slot for it to mount on
