what are those ceiling plugs called?

the 01 tahoe i just bought is missing 2 of the ceiling plugs over the 2nd row seats plus one of the ceiling vents.

mine has open holes as well..i dont think there is anything that goes in there..i believe its where the rear air brings in the air..

thats what i thought as well..i noticed a tahoe on a sonic commercial had the same holes so i figured it was normal..

If it's what im thinking yes those small round holes 2 1/2 inch or so would be vents for the rear upper a/c - heat ducts.

If your talking about the vents in the ceiling those are your AC/Heat vents. For some reason they put two on each side in the middle row. They should not just be open holes and should have vents. My 06 had vents there so yours should to.

sorry for the crappy garage pic, but the empty holes are right above the 2nd seat headrests. i'm also missing a vent for the 3rd seat. i want to find this stuff on ebay or something.

IM not sure what their called. But with a flat head screw driver and some electrical tape around the head of the screw driver you can pop the other one out and show it to the parts guy at the dealer.

They are just pop pins but I dont know if that is the correct term. But I have heard them called that before.
