My 2003 Yukon has the newer style wheel.

Also the 4WD/AWD switch is not present where it would normally be on the 2003.

Maybe an early 2003 or something?

I also have a 2003 (SLT) and the only differences I see are the steering wheel (obviously) and center console.

Didn't' they change the instrument panels in 2003? It's hard to see everything, but I see no differences in my rig.

Also, the seats, doors, above head console for back climate control (with dome lights, and garage door opener) all the same as my 2003

No the 2003 Denali did not have a 4WD switch. They stayed AWD, so there's no controls for it. The steering wheel, rear view mirror, door panels, gauge cluster, the stereo, all changed in 2003. His rear view mirror doesn't ha w the onstar buttons on it like all the 2003 and up denalis did. It has the 1 1-2 sin servo instead of the 2 din like 2003. The center cupholder area is shaped differently too. Lol.

While I was looking to see if any 2002s showed up in google image search with the newer seats (and I couldn't find anything... its a 2002 or 2001, for sure), I found this picture of the 2002 center console and radio:
QRLALQf.jpg

It has a fuel consumption monitor!

Any idea if one of these could be connected to a 2000 Yukon?

EDIT: I checked the website I got this image from, and the 2001 Denali and 2002 Esky also had it

EDIT #2: Looks like it might work for fuel, but not customizing things like the the horn/lights/etc. Found a page where some one hooked one up to their 2001 and the only thing that would work is fuel information.

Does your DIC in the middle of your gauge cluster not have the trip info(fuel) showing there?

My Yukon is an AWD and it has buttons... Different that the 4x4 buttons, but buttons nonetheless. But it looks like you're right after looking at AWD Denali dashes on Google images... That's strange.

Would someone go look at this thing and end the speculation, already? Oh, and bring $1k with you since it's a steal whether it's a 2003 or a 2000-2002!
