Can anyone tell me if there is another 88 to 98 Chevy Tahoe western hauler? Wondering how rare it is, I have one that's been in the family since almost new and just acquired it and want to find more about it. Thank you for any info...

I have only seen one obs suburban with a wood trim like that, looked like it was done by a upfitter which means restoring or fixing anything is going to have to be made by hand

There was a tan one when this was gotten from the dealer that matched it all but the color. Yes it has wood inside and tow package. But other than that I've never seen another one but they came out of ohio.

it has a body kit that you will most likely never parts for so the best bet is if it one is cracked or damaged you will need to have someone repair it or make a new piece, finding information on it is probably going to be as hard as finding a replacement part. These kinds of things were either offered out of a magazine or by dealerships from 3rd party company's and you don't usually see these kinds of company's surviving long, happens time and time again.

or if they still exist they moved on to other kits/vehicles, vans get more love than anything with this kind of upfitting

Was more wondering of its worth keeping around. I got a few obs yukon gt and 88 single cab short bed and the Tahoe. Use Tahoe for family rig so she gets used

not sure what kind of value it has but a fresh coat of paint, refresh the lights and refresh the wheels and it will still be nice looking from the outside anyway.

Inside is near perfect I'll post pics tomorrow but has wood with leather. Its loaded only Tahoe I've seen with a lock button inside the rear barn doors but yes this has been well taking care of. I'm the second owner since western hauler had it . Well I guess the dealer is in between there.

What year is yours?

My 2001 Yukon has a liftgate and has a lock/unlock button just to the right of it on the inside. Not sure what year they started doing that
