On a good trip of all highway we get 15 - 15.5 mpg in the burb. That's loaded down with kids, luggage and cooler. My dad's '14 Silvy CC (1/2 ton) gets more like the 18-19 range on the highway. His '12 got more like 16 mpg on the highway.

Yeah the 13-14 is just him in the truck driving about 1.5hrs each way. His 14 silverado gets around 20-22 when he's drives the same route

I'm saying don't be picky about fuel when you buy a full size SUV or pickup. My duramax got maybe 15, and people rave about diesel's fuel economy. It's all inflated. My 6.2 gets like 13, and my father's f150 gets 15-16. So no, I don't really think that is poor fuel economy.

I get about 16-17, on a few trips I've hit 18mpg. I also forgot to mention the door trim banana peeling back because they use garbage tape. I reattached them with 3M VHB 3 years ago and it looks like the day I did it.

So, why are you still bitching here? Just move on to Toyota without whining to us about it.
I think the most of us see it 180 degrees in the other direction.

my wife drives a toyota. It is a decent enough car, but far from trouble free. If you are buying into the "foreign cars are better" crap, then you might be in for a serious awakening.

If you really are having the same issue over and over, then maybe the problem is whoever is working on them.
