Installing 2 new DRL, the LED type that has been used successfully from other members, and new set of 9005/9005 Sylvania SU bulbs.

So here is what I did. Removed standard DRL, installed new LED on passenger side. Hit remote, to make sure it worked. Check. Then installed the Headlight bulbs. Turned on the lights to make sure they worked. Moved to other side. Did same procedure. Everything looked liked it was working.

Closed the hood. Looked back one more time and hit unlock on remote to admire my work, and no more DRL or Puddle lights on mirrors. Turned truck on and no more DRLs. Headlights work fine.

Checked the DRL fuse, it is good. Checked and no power getting to bulbs, but there is power at the relay and the fuse under the hood for the DRLs.

I am stumped.

Put back in the regular DRLs and still no go.

Update. Some combination of putting the truck on, putting it in gear, starting, turning off, has the puddle lights working again, and the DRLs when unlocking with remote.

Hopefully this means the DRLs will work when driving.

Problem is back. Really weird. DRLs are working when driving, but not when unlocking, and no puddles when unlocking or opening door.

They won't come on if there's enough light around to make your truck think it's daytime.
