Water in cup holder

I am having a weird issue when using the car wash, hopefully its an easy fix. When I am in the car wash, I will get a small amount of water in the drivers door cup holder but no where else? What could be causing this?

Is this something that someone pretty non technical can fix or is it better to let a dealer handle it?

there could be something stuck in the seal or you need new ones. On the NNBS they just lift off...
