Long post, sorry. This requries explaining.
During a vacation to Florida, the truck start to show all kinds of warning lights (Service 4x4, parking sensors, service stabilitrak, ABS, Air Bag, etc.), no A/C and the radio would not come one after sitting in the hot sun for an extended period.
A quick 5 mins of research yielded similar problems that were solved by pulling the radio fuse. I did so and it fixed everything (besides the radio obviously) and after driving the truck for a while and letting the interior cool off re-inserting the radio fuse usually allowed the radio to come back on without any further warning lights until the truck sat in the sun again. After returning home (North GA) I expected the lower temperature and parking the truck in the garage over night would help the problem, yes except for when the truck sits outside while I'm at work. I certainly seems the heat is getting to my radio, parking sensors or the iSimple Connect I have installed.
I'm going to crack the windows and get a sun shade for the windshield. It still bothers me that I haven't "fixed" the issue, just found a remedy for when it happens. Any ideas on the root of the problem? Problems with the factory radio or iSimple? Could it be my parking sensors? (Parking sensors were always the first warning light)
