VVT cam gear question.

I thought the VVT gear phasers were all the same for GM 5.3, 6.0, 6,2 but they are different part numbers.
Anyone know what the difference is between the 6.0 and 6.2 VVT gears is?
Reason im asking is Jeggs shows this set to fit everything but Summit says it does not.

I've had good luck by calling either Summit or JEGS when I've had a question like that. Their techs usually know what's up.

Went down the rabbit hole by accident researching VVT tuning.
THIS thread explains it and after reading it i thought i better talk to GPI and get some info to make sure the cam i ordered is what i need!
GPI could not answer my question so they put me in touch with Aaron at Kuntz Power.
After chatting a bit it was determined the cam is for use with the new style phaser.
Aaron told me using the new style phaser would not cause any mechanical problems in place of the old style phaser and the difference is in the cam degrees the phaser runs at, that can be dealt with in the tune.
He also said he will get the website fixed to reflect what phaser is needed.
Now i need to return the one i ordered and get the new style phaser.
I just find it odd that no one else would have brought this up to them before.

Let’s be honest; You’re only saying accident because at some point you checked the time and it was 2.5-3 hrs later and you still needed to confirm 1-2 more answers somewhere out on the line.

It’s ok man. Many of us have been there and are guilty of it also.
