I had chatted with him a while ago about it but, he wanted $1200 and wasnt willing to budge.
Personally, if you want more power you really only have one option = LS based swap. While this is a great upgrade I dont think it pays off in power........

1200...definitely too much. It looks like this is on ebay with no reserve though. Im curious to see how much it goes for.

I agree, thats why I didnt buy it from him.
Yup, I noticed that to. Thats why I'm keeping an eye on it ;)

From what I understand the marine engine is rated with open exhaust manifolds though. I don't know how much that's worth but a good exhaust/header setup should match that and probably add a little more torque?

Yeah, thats where he had it in the classifieds.
While it is a nice upgrade from stock, I still feel that an LS based swap would be far superior, especially in the HP department.
