Volume buttons wonky

So my volume buttons on the steering wheel have been kinda weird. They kinda work. If I have the steering wheel around 2 or 3 o'clock in a turn it will work. But most of the time it will just not work. Any ideas?

Sounds like maybe the clock spring has a bad connection. Easy fix, but need to pull the wheel and replace the clock spring.
